HasselBlad News

Colin Adair - Thursday, May 24, 2012

I am really happy to announce that one of my photos was chosen by the good people at Hasselblad for their newsletter this month.

It's an honour to be recognized by such an iconic company that I am obsessed with.

This is the email I got:

Dear Mr Adair,

Thank you very much for submitting your favorite image taken with Hasselblad equipment for the AROUND THE WORLD section of the Hasselblad Bulletin.

We are delighted to let you know that your image has been selected by the editorial team from amongst the hundreds that have been submitted by photographers from all around the world to be published in the new issue of the Bulletin – May 2012.

Congratulations on a fine achievement and this means that your work is now featured amongst a gallery of images submitted by fellow Hasselblad users that is showcased to a wide international audience.

All the best for you and we hope you like the new issue of the Hasselblad Bulletin.

No Butts About It!

Colin Adair - Wednesday, August 04, 2010
As you may or may not know, I am a member of the F-Stop Gear Faction team. F - Stop gear is one of the only companies out there that are making camera bags and accessories with the action sports photographer in mind. I have been using their packs for the last year and have been really impressed by the design and quality. Please check them out and become a community member (see link below) or sign up for the Friends with Benefits Program (not yet available in Canada but they are working on it). As a team member I get some free gear, I get to help in the design of the new gear and in return I post stuff on their site/blog/community. It's a good deal. It's even better when I stumble upon something like the video below which was posted on the F-Stop Community page. This guy went the distance sitting in a chair for 48 hours, all for a good cause and the love of time lapse. Respect!
